Buttered Penne Pasta with Parmesan Cheese
4 Easy Ingredients in this Kid Friendly Recipe
One of my girls' favorite things to eat is Buttered Penne Pasta with Parmesan Cheese...or as they call it, Buttered Noodles! I always make at least a box, but usually two boxes at a time, so I have them ready to reheat whenever needed. They are super simple, and I don't know a kid (or grown-up) who wouldn't love them!
Here are the ingredients and steps to create the Buttered Penne Pasta with Parmesan Cheese:
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
1 Box of Penne Pasta
Parmesan Cheese (grated or shredded)
Garlic Powder
4 tbsp Butter (half a stick)
STEP 1: BOIL WATER
Fill your pot with water and bring to a boil.
STEP 2: COOK & DRAIN PASTA
Dump in the entire box of pasta (you can add a little salt to help prevent the pasta noodles from sticking together). Cover with a lid until the water is boiling. Uncover and let boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain the water from the pasta.
STEP 3: MIX IN BUTTER
Add half a stick of butter (more or less if preferred), and let melt. Stir the pasta.
STEP 4: TOP WITH CHEESE & SERVE
Plate the pasta. Top with grated or shredded parmesan and serve.
Wasn't that simple? I promise kids love it! I hope you enjoyed this recipe. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how this dish turns out for you. Don't forget to follow Urban Rhino on social media and subscribe to our website for more upcoming recipes and tutorials!
