Home Makeover Part 3: Gym and Playroom

For this next post, let's take a look at the other side of the basement, as well as the bathroom and lower level playroom!

This is that creepy part of the house I was talking about in my previous post. This side of the basement was split up into two bedrooms. You had to enter one bedroom, go into the closet (yes, into the closet!), then open a hidden door to go down to the lower basement. Total creeptown! I refused to go down there before we renovated it...it was so scary and straight out of a horror movie. It's sort of ironic that it is now the girls' playroom lol!

So, let's check out where we like to sweat and play!

I wish I would have had the foresight to have taken better before pictures, but it's still nice to look back and see how far this dump has come! On the far right you'll see the door which leads down to what is now the playroom. That entrance was in this bedroom's closet.

This before photo was taken in the second basement bedroom. We knocked out the bedroom walls to open up the area.

This was the sweet bathroom down there...doesn't everyone want a window right in their shower? Lol!

Unfortunately I failed to take before pictures of the playroom...it was probably too creepy at the time! Just picture dark, spiders, and all around nastiness!
