Home Makeover Part 6: Master Suite

Before & After

In this final before and after of the interior of our house, we'll check out the master suite renovation.

As I mentioned in the previous post, we spent a ton of time opening up the ceilings and walls. We converted what was previously two bedrooms and a bathroom into the master suite. I wanted a big walk-in closet as well as a large bathroom with a separate shower and tub.

So, let's take a look at the last portion of our renovation...

The master bedroom was a big change from the before pictures. We were able to keep and upgrade the walk out balcony as well, which you will see the doors on the right in the picture above.

You can see in this before and after how much higher we were able to make the ceilings...it made a huge difference!

Even though I could still use a closet twice the size, I'm really happy with how the master closet turned out.

The bathroom was a big addition to the master suite. Going from a little tiny bathroom with only a shower to this big one with a separate tub was a huge upgrade!

Take a look at the rest of the details...

What do you think of this final phase of our renovation? Are you currently renovating a room or house? I'd love to hear how it goes! We are having a pool installed in the next few weeks, so once that's wrapped up, I'll be posting before and after photos of the exterior!
