Rainbow Fruit Kabobs
A Healthy 2 Step Treat Your Kids Will Love!
One of my girls' favorite things to eat is Buttered Penne Pasta with Parmesan Cheese...or as they call it, Buttered Noodles! I always make at least a box, but usually two boxes at a time, so I have them ready to reheat whenever needed. They are super simple, and I don't know a kid (or grown-up) who wouldn't love them!
Here are the ingredients and steps to create the Buttered Penne Pasta with Parmesan Cheese:
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Fresh fruit
Large marshmallows (optional)
STEP 1: PREP FRUIT
Wash your fruit and dry. Cut the fruit keeping in mind most kids will want to eat each piece in one bite.
STEP 2: PUT FRUIT ON SKEWERS
Stick the skewer through each piece of fruit. Add the fruit in rainbow order (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet).
Other fruits that work well include: raspberries, green grapes, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, watermelon and bananas.
This is definitely one of the easiest recipes I've done. I'm thinking of trying this with veggies next...peppers, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, etc. What do you think?
I hope you enjoyed this recipe. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how these turn out for you. Don't forget to follow Urban Rhino on social media and subscribe to our website for more upcoming recipes and tutorials!
